Ten more young Belgians off to Syria

Just before the end of the summer holiday, another ten Muslim youth from Vilvoorde have left for Syria. The group includes five minors, Mayor of Vilvoorde Hans Bonte (SP.A) told Het Laatste Nieuws. Fifteen other young people are also suspected to be en route to Syria, or about to leave, as they haven't been heard from for a few days. In total, some 200 young Belgians are currently fighting there, according to Syrian newspapers, among them 20 from Vilvoorde. According to various estimates, 10 to 15 Belgians have been killed.
