Hello, I would like to temporary register my car in Belgium. Apparently this is possible for up to six months. Does anybody have experience with this? Also, can someone suggest a good/cheap car insurance company that sells car insurance for temporary registration?

Yep, did that before exporting my car to Germany. The garage where I had bought it did all the paperwork for me. For insurance, I used the Belgian insurance company for public servants, formerly called smap (now Ethias I think).
