Taxi with car seat

Question

Hi all, we have friends coming to visit with their baby. As we don't have a car we want to book a taxi with baby seat to bring them to our apartment. Anyone have any good recommendations/experiences. Can you book them ahead of time?

Where do you live? There are few companies which will have car seats. It might be safer to take the bus / train. There is no way I would put a baby into a car without a car seat, not even one journey. If you're not near public transport or cannot find a company with a car seat, then I'd go an borrow or buy one.
