Question

I have been offered a job in the UK salary 40 000 pounds. What will my take home package be? Working wife staying in Belgium with kids. Guess it makes sense for the children to be deductable from her salary.

It probably does make sense for your wife to keep the kids as her dependents. The family allowance tends to be a lot more generous in Belgium, and if the kids are staying here, you'll want to keep them under your wife's mutuelle.
