Tax return "more complicated" in 2015

11:53 29/04/2015

The 2015 tax return form is slightly more complicated than previous versions. The new tax declaration form is longer than last year’s: it includes 43 supplementary tax codes. This change is due to the 6th State Reform, which sees a large part of property tax transferred to the competency of the regions.

Since 11.00 on Tuesday, it has been possible to deposit a 2015 tax return on the Tax-on-web site. Nearly 3.5 million taxpayers declared their taxes on the platform last year. For those who still want to fill out the 60-page paper form, the documents will be sent out to 2.8 million people at the end of this week.

Anyone completing a paper version will have until 30 June to submit it. Electronic versions can be submitted up until 15 July. If it is being completed by proxy, the completed form will need to be in by 29 October.
