Tax declaration assessment

Does it take the tax authorities a bit longer to assess declarations submitted by cross-border workers (with a permanent residence in Belgium). So for instance those who work in the UK during the week (for a UK employer, on a UK payroll) and returning to Belgium end of the week for the weekend...? Thanks
I am a pensioner whose total income (bar interest on Belgian bank accounts) comes from the UK and I live permanently here. I get my annual assessment (and payment demand) from the fisc sometime around Easter each year. I am now a Belgian citizen but that seems to make no difference to the timing.
