Question

I have recently learned that most of my bonus will be placed in a tak 23. When will I be able to withdraw that money? Only at retirement? What happens if I die early? I will, of course, ask HR/ Finance... meanwhile, I would prefer your insight.

I don't know about TAK 23, but I have experience with a bonus being paid in to a SICAV and it could be withdrawn immediately. It's the latest wheeze to try and get around confiscatory taxation, so I'm sure it's a loop hole that will soon be closed.

If you withdraw before retirement age, it will be heavily taxed.
