Supermarkets

Question

I went to a supermarket in Brussels recently before the lockdown was announced. I noticed then there was a shortage of toiletpaper, flour and some canned goods.

Anybody been recently, what is the situation like.

TIA for all answers

Shortages on toilet rolls and milk but plenty of beer and chocolate so we should be ok.
It’s strange to find toilet roll as top priority for hoarding. If you have no food, you won’t need toilet paper. And milk comes from local cows who will eat grass and need to be milked daily so shouldn’t be a problem.
Shops constantly restocking so don’t panic yet.

Statistically, if y'all dumbarses go down them same bloody shops at the same time and buy the same things then bark at each at the same time, then y'alls is more likely that yer gonna die together.

Bit late now.

What will your kids write on your tombstone? Oh yeah - Death by coronavirus that she caught panic-buying pasta and bog-roll. Thank feck she left it all to us.

Yesterday there were no rice, flour, toilet paper and kitchen rolls. Pasta shelves were quiet down as well as the freezers. Delhaize opened only for old people 8-9 this morning. Rich suburb people are not leaving anything to the people shopping with a small trolley. Pandemic cruelty!

A lot of the stuff which is in short suply in decent supermarkets is for sale in "night shops" at outrageous prices , wait a while and everything will be available again in the decent supermarkets .
