Sunday day trip to Knokke

Question

I'm thinking of going to Knokke on Sunday by train and I'd like to bring my bike. I checked the sncb site and you can bring bikes on the train with a special bike ticket. I am worried that it will be too crowded, though. Has anyone ridden the train to Knokke recently on a Sunday who can advise?

I suppose I can rent a bike there but wanted flexibility to arrive in Knokke and leave from another town after cycling for a while.

I've travelled to the coast by train regularly though never with a bike.
There are coaches where you can put your bike and, if the NMBS says that you can take one and will sell you a ticket to do so, it's a safe bet that you can do so.
As to how busy the train is, in warm summer weather they are very busy. You don't say where you are starting from - I assume Bxl - but by Noordstation the trains are quite crowded and by Zuid it will be pandemonium. Obviously the earlier in the day you start out the more comfortable your journey will be.
