Subsidies or tax relief for new windows and roof
Hello,
Can anybody point me to information on any subsidies or tax relief for installation of windows, doors and roof in a house in Laeken (Commune of Brussels). I have searched the Commune website but don't find anything and I thought there was a subsidy for improving energy efficiency. Also tax relief info on home improvement welcome.

To clarify matters, suggest you go and ask your local tax office. If the house is over 100 years old then one might be entitled to a tax relief and only have to pay 6% taxes on any new windows, doors and a roof.

Please study carefully for what is subsidized, e.g. double/triple glazed windows for sure, roof don't know.
Anon is correct with the 6% VAT, valid already after 10-20 years without renovation (see in the docs). You need to work ONLY with acknowledged companies with invoices with VAT, paid by bank transfer as proof.
If you work with one company for both jobs, please have 2 single invoices as you will need 2 'demandes'. Best to do the devis & jobs beginning of 2019 and to request the subsidy in 1Q2019.
