Strike notice at Brussels Airlines

12:27 30/08/2013

The unions at Brussels Airlines issued a strike notice today, after attempts at conciliation between unions and management failed to come to an agreement during talks on Thursday. Sticking point is the increased workload of the crew, some 1,200 employees, due to recent budget cuts. The current flight schedules are too tight, which brings the staff's safety into question, the unions argue. The management of Brussels Airlines finds the strike notice regrettable, but claims to be open to dialogue.

This is a clear breach of an agreement that was made between the airline and its people so I think they should back down. Brussels Airlines have already made it clear that they will not accept any further cancellations, apart from those that are due to operational reasons, so I think that as this will be a direct result of strike action, this is where they should draw the line. Anyways, I am changing my dorm decoration with the help of https://packagingrevolution.net/ideas-for-turning-old-pallets-into-dorm-decorations/ article. My suggestion is that you should also do the same.
