Stockholm hotels

Anyone with personal recommendations for a good value for money hotel in Stockholm ? I have already looked at Booking.com etc, many seem sold out, prices generally high. Would a Best Western hotel near Odenplan metro, relatively lower in cost, be too far for sightseeing mostly central Stockholm places ? Thanks in advance.
