Stockel cinema puts all of its seats up for sale

Here's an opportunity to create an authentic cinema experience in your own home - as a neighbourhood cinema in Woluwe-Saint-Pierre is selling off all of its old seats.

Le Stockel is closing for a month of renovation work from the end of May and all of its red folding chairs are being replaced.

For a flat price of €100, cinema fans will receive a row of three seats with their armrests (four armrests in total). A spare fourth seat without armrests is also included.

Interested buyers can reserve their seats by paying at the cinema from 26 April during normal opening hours. You will receive a voucher - and you must be free sometime on 27 or 28 May to collect the chairs.

"These chairs are heavy - we recommend you bring a second pair of hands," cinema manager Alexandre Kasim said in a post on Facebook.
