Still have a package to send? No sweat

18:20 21/12/2017
A new interactive map that shows every possible place to send a package has arrived just in time for Christmas

The Belgian Institute for Postal Services and Telecommunications (BIPT) has launched an interactive map that shows users where all possible locations are in the country to send a package. It brings all the shipping companies together in one place.

On Pointpostal.be, users put in their postal code or simply click on the interactive map, and all delivery services pop up, so you can find the one closest to your home or workplace if you have a package that needs to go out now. You can also search by street, ability to send express or by operator.

There are 10 operators on the map, including the major players such as bpost, DHL and UPS. The map shows official outlets of the delivery services but also businesses that simply offer pick-up and drop-off points. Clicking on a pin on the map brings up the name, address and opening hours of the service.

The map covers the entire country and has more than 1,500 locations in Brussels alone.
