Staycation survey: What are you looking for in a holiday at home?

15:16 12/06/2000

While airlines might be starting up international flights again, many of us are not quite ready to hop aboard. That might be because of fears of contracting Covid-19, but it also has a lot to do with summer flights still being cancelled.

If there ever was a time for a Staycation, it’s now. But what will you do and where will you go? Do you already have a destination in mind or are you open to suggestions?

While some of us will sleep at home and flit out on day-trips, others might want to get away from it all in a cute B&B in the middle of nowhere. Staycation options are in fact as varied as a holiday abroad.

Flemish Brabant – the province that surrounds Brussels – wants to know if Covid-19 has changed your summer plans and what you might be looking for in a holiday at home. So it has launched a short survey to find out if you are planning a Staycation, what you are looking to do or see and what part of Belgium interests you the most.

The online survey takes less than five minutes to fill out, and those who do will get a free booklet of walking routes in Flemish Brabant for their efforts. If you’re just looking for Staycation inspiration, you can do that on Flemish Brabant’s extensive English-language tourist site as well.
