State Security opens 30 vacancies

09:50 02/03/2016

Selor, the selection agency of the federal government, is tasked with recruiting 30 additional agents for Belgium's State Security department. According to trade union SYPOL, the new recruits will fill a reserve, but also provide back-up for an ongoing matter of state security.

State Security is looking to recruit the 30 agents to work as inspectors who go out into the field to gather information and follow the activities of certain individuals and groups.

In addition to good observation skills, specific educational backgrounds are also considered an asset, such as the sciences, engineering, economics or computer science. Candidates with knowledge of non-European languages such as Arabic or Chinese are especially encouraged to apply, announced Selor.
