Sea sickness remedies

Question

I will be crossing the Atlantic by ship in April. Have never been on a cruise before, so I'm worried about sea sickness spoiling my trip. Could anyone recommend any sea sickness remedies I could get over the counter in Brussels (or online from the UK, maybe?). Or should I get some medication from my doctor?

Sea sickness occurs when the info from your internal ear (I'm moving) doesn't match the info from your eyes (the horizon is not moving).
You won't be moving on such a big boat. It's like spending a week in a mall.
