Sabbatical year, Belgium Law

Question

Dear all,
I am British but now resident in Belgium. I have lived and worked in Belgium for 3 years. I have heard that according to Belgian law, if you have worked in Belgium more than 2 years it is your legal right to be able to take a 1 year sabbatical from work, and this is partly financially supported by the Belgian government.
I also heard that if you work in a small company (e.g. less than 200 people), it is a legal right of the employer to refuse if "too many" employees are already on time credit.
Is this true?
Where can I find more information and whether I am entitled or not?
Thanks for your help.

http://www.onem.fgov.be/ (FR, NL, DE - the English pages don't say much) and look at "Interruption de carrière et crédit-temps".
