Royal Galleries of Saint-Hubert get new light installation

13:42 27/04/2017

The Royal Galleries of Saint-Hubert, Brussels' famous glazed shopping arcade, is celebrating its 170th anniversary with the installation of a a new, dynamic and ecological lighting system. Visitors are invited to discover the new lighting with musical accompaniment at 21.30 every evening from 28 April to 3 May, writes Bruzz.

The light show in the Royal Galleries “is comparable to the light show on the Grand Place during the holidays,” press officer Sybille Iweins told Bruzz. “After these five days, the light installation will only be used during special events.”

The lighting display will be coupled with classical music composed by Franz Liszt in 1847, the year the galleries were opened.
