Royal dating ad shunned

12:01 23/10/2012

A billboard campaign in which King Albert II is seen between Prince Charles and Bill Clinton, with the tagline “they should have thought about Ashley Madison”, has been spurned by advertising corporation JC Decaux. The Canadian extramarital dating service has planned topical campaigns suited to the new markets they are trying to conquer, with each variant featuring local heads of state or political figures whose extramarital affairs are common knowledge. The French version featured president François Hollande and his three predecessors, with the same tagline. The Belgian campaign, like the French one, will not be appearing on any JC Decaux billboards, and the company says the visuals were not submitted to them.
