Road Works

Question

What the bloody buggery is going on out there?! Is it road works season in Belgium? And why do you need to fence off one lane of a 1km of dual carriageway for ONE worker? Its going to be a nightmare when the schools are back - again...

Is there a central department who look after road works you can contact or is it all commune by commune? If its the latter it would be nice if they talked to each other so you weren't crawling from one set of works to another every morning/evening.

PS. What happened to Corker? I was going to buy her an ice-cream!

in fact, it *is* roadworks season in Belgium! Brussels schedules a lot of roadworks for the summer because loads of people are on holiday, and there's less traffic. some of it will be done by early September. *Some* of it.

It's always road works season in Belgium. I have never in my life seen so many roads closed and for so long.
