Returning something bought in 15 days
All I can tell you is that you will not get cash back or your credit card credited IF you paid with those two forms of money. It will always be store credit which I have gone around and around with stores. I figured if I paid with my credit and I have the receipt then I should get my money back. It doesn't make sense to me but I'm also from a country that gives you your money back if you have a receipt. I know of some friends who have tried returning things the next day and were rejected and it was in its original package. I think 15 days is correct but I wouldn't count on it. Always read/ translate the receipt.
For stuff bought online, by phone, etc, you get fourteen days from the day after the product or service was delivered to return it if you change your mind.
Other than that, you can't return something just because you don't want it any more unless it's written into the T and Cs of your contract with the seller. It's all here:

No, there is no such rule or law, except for distance selling. Whoever told you that there is, is 100 % wrong.
If you buy something from a normal shop, and then change your mind for whatever reason, shops in Belgium are under no obligation to accept a return.
Those shops that do take things back, do so out of their own free will, as an extra service to the customer. They are then free to decide whether they return the purchase price as cash, or as store credit.
If a shop offers this extra service, it is often advertised in the shop and mentioned in the receipt you get.
Obviously, if something is faulty, that is a different matter.
Above answers are correct, but large stores such as Carrefour, Brico and Delhaize do refund.
100% wrong.....
Plus,
If you made a payment and even if the good is not delivered to you & If you change your mind, the stores here will not refund you but offer store vouchers equivalent to the price of the goods.......
Read small print...
They treat you as a customer until the point of selling...
