ActuallyI have another idea for the small appliances. Most probably the fuse went off. You can find the small fuse, it is at an easily openable part and you can see if it is dark (gone off or not). You can buy one from Brico and replace easily. Good luck!

If still in need , search for a repair cafe near to where you live, it is a not for profit anti waste effort , they repair all kinds of appliances , and know to find the defects and how to fix them.
