Rent an apartment to store stuff and practice hobbies

Question

Urgent one and really would love some advice: I rent an apartment with my husband and I like to practice music and paint/sculpt. Our apartment is too small to do this and would like to rent another in addition to our main residence to practice our hobbies and store a load of stuff. Also we will share this space with some other friends with common interests. Does anyone know whether this is possible - are there any issues re: residence? bills? Do I have to state that it will not be my main residence to anyone? Thanks so much.

> Does anyone know whether this is possible
Yes, it is.

> - are there any issues re: residence?
Not if it's a non-residential property (ie. a workshop)
If you rent an ordinary apartment, you will have to pay a non-residency tax to the commune.

> bills?
The person on the lease pays the bills. With some commercial lets, you will be charged for what you use on a monthly basis, and will not have seperate bills.
