Take it to the commune tip.
Do NOT flush it down the loo.

Make a plastic feeding bottle for the birds.
Place cooking oil inside a plastic bottle with some nuts and seeds, then freeze it.
Once frozen remove from freezer, cut some holes (one to hang the bottle outside an the other for the birds to peck on the bird seeds) then hang it outside.

That's one of the more sensible things I have heard all day.
