Real Estate Agency Fees

Question

Hi,
If I want to rent an apartment in Brussels, and find one through a real estate agency, do I have to pay them any fee? Or is it the landlord who pays the agency for helping him rent his apartment?
Thank you in advance for your help.

You pay nothing. The landlord pays (1 months rent usually).
.
Best apartments go word of mouth; orange "a louer" signs in the window, Vlan (paper) and immoweb.be - in that order.
.
Estate agencies get the rest.

Hello,

It's true, the landlord has to pay the agency, and you won't get charged for any fees if you are renting a flat or a house
