Quite impossible to find an architect for renovation

Hello friends,

I just bought a house in flanders and contacted closed to 10 architects because the house needs renovation.

Only 2 agreed to visite the house, one gave up and the other is preparing an offer. Other did not even wanted to know details or budget and said no at the very first contact. A few said "not available in 6 months"

I just would like to understand their way of working in Belgium. Quite strange for me. I have the impression that they care of about new construction. The interaction is also quite poor at the first contact.
