Quilting (backing) Fabric

I bought some backing fabric in Mondial years ago when I lived in Brussels that consisted of cream fabric with with a thin layer of quilt batting already attached (stuck) to the back of it. It was purchased by the metre off a large roll and is great for backing runners and placemats. Does anyone know the correct name of this fabric/batting so I can try and order some more online.
