question on employment contract termination
Hi folks,
Wondering if anyone can help me answer a question, I'm working for a company for 9 years, I changed my contract from 5 to 4 days still doing full time hours, if I decide to terminate my employment contract would my employer have the right to revert back to 5 days.
Hope everyone has a great day.
Best Regards
I don't really understand your problem.
If you terminate your employment contract it will be nothing to do with you whether your then ex-employer decides to replace you with someone working 4 or 5 days - or even not to replace you at all.
Why do you think that your ex-employer would not have the right to do whatever he sees best for his business?
Your contract says 4 days. Your employer has no rights to change this back without your consent.
Do you mean, you are afraid that your employer might require you to work 5 days a week during your Notice period ?
