Problem with the delivery of double glazing


I have ordered double glazing. I paid the down payment of 40% of the total amount. It was agreed that the windows would be installed beginning of August. We are now end of August and cannot get hold of the double glazing guy. He does not answer mails or telephone calls. I just want my money back. What do I need to do? Go to court? How is this organised? Many thanks

Perhaps the installer thought August 2012!
Seriously, this is Belgium and we have never had easy contact with anyone in the construction industry. If they are overwhelmed with work they just don't respond. Keep trying, send a strong letter threatening legal action, and they'll figure out how to return a phone call.
