Pot barley
in Dutch it is 'pot gerst' and be aware that pearl barley and pot barley are interchangeable in most recipes, and tht it is only in deserts when you would use pearl not pot barley that there is a huge difference. That said, with its higher bran content, pot barley is marginally better for you. Both are so much better than traditional wheat products that the difference between pot and pearl isn't really worth worrying about.
