Post delivery in Overijse

Question

Since we came to live in Overijse, (about a year and a half ago) we had 5 postal items that failed to make it to our home. When I contacted Belgapost they just took note of my complaint with all the details and said they would look into it, but nothing happened and several weeks have now passed. On my second call to complain yet again about another item that failed to be delivered, they told me that unless the item was registered they had no way of knowing where the item could be! The items came from Canada, UK and Malta so the problem has to be Belgium ! Does anyone have any suggestions where I can lodge a proper complaint and trace my missing items? Thanks

J

I've had things re-routed through Beloruss and the Phillippines, as well as a new "losts". It seems that "foreign" post is often re-routed through sortcentres where labour cost is low, so it's really not possible to suggest that Belgium is the single point of failure.
.
If you want to trace items, pay for a service where they are tracked, like "recommandé".
