I have about 20-25 big pots for which I need to get plants and soil, etc. Could someone suggest the best/cheapest place to buy from (since I am going to need a lot).

You may have some luck finding these for free. I often see them advertised on Freecycle - freecycle.org. Might be worth your while posting a request in your local group!
