Permanent residence card B for expats +local contract .

Question

Hello, As per new rule, you should be paying social social security in belgium during applying the residence card B. But does it also mean you must have paid taxes for all continuous 5 years of stay ? what about mix job contracts as expat contract where you don’t pay taxes in belgium + local contract with paying social security in belgium ? Like initial 5 years on expat contract and 6th year on local Belgian job contract.
So basically I am apply for B card after a working for 12 months on local contract with paying social security.what are my chances of getting permanent reside card B.

Hi,

My two cents.
I think DOFI considers 50% of your spent duration if you haven't paid tax.

However, I am not sure about taxation rules on expat status.
