Paris traffic on Saturdays

Hi,

I am planning to go on a daytrip to Paris this Saturday. My plan is to park the car at Charles de Gaulle Airport and take the train into the city, but for a number of reasons I'd like to have the car with me in Paris itself(f.e to store certain things). Now, I know from experience that the traffic on the Paris ring is horrendous on a weekday, but how is it on a Saturday? Would it make sense to drive into Paris itself, or would it still be wiser to leave the car outside of the city and park at the airport
