Parental leave
Question
Hello,
I have not been working for my employer for a full year and am currently working 80%. Is it possible to use parental leave to continue working 80% after I have been with my employer for a year? Would my employer need to be willing to give me a 100% contract in order to "reduce" my hours to 80%?
Thanks!

Yes - you have to be 100% before you can be reduced to 80% + get parental leave allowance. Discuss what you're thinking with your employer - it shouldn't be too much of an issue.
