Question

Has anyone lived specifically around here and know what it is like. I already live elsewhere in schaerbeek but i dont know this area well and I've seen some nice houses there

Passive energy

I lived on Avenue Huart-Hamoir for 17 years between 1985 and 2002, and I enjoyed my time there a lot. The area is fairly quiet, yet quite well connected with busses, trams and the railway. The population is a sound mix of Belgians and foreigners of all kinds. Chaussée de Helmet and the adjacent area has good shopping opportunities; there is a medium-sized Delhaize and Carrefour supermarket. Go for it - I liked it a lot and would return any time.
