One Billion Bicycles hits Brussels
Belgium
11:55 23/10/2012
The Australian collective Melbourne Cycle Chic is on a world tour, “documenting the culture, politics and fashion of the world’s greatest bicycle cities”. Their project, called One Billion Bicycles, hit Brussels yesterday, having previously been to Amsterdam, Dublin and Berlin. Melbourne Cycle Chic is the Victorian chapter of the Copenhagen-founded Cycle Chic movement, whose manifesto advocates style over speed, elegance while cycling, safety for cyclists in cities and total avoidance of cycle wear.
