is there any policy which makes sense the employee shld't be allowed to work for same project at client place after changing the company?

is it violating belgium law??

I do not think it violates the Belgium law or probably the European law too.

But, your former employer must have signed a document with your Client regarding this scenario.It normally is for 1 year or 6 months.  If the relationship between your Client and former employer business wise has a huge impact then it will be enforced else i do not see issues.

keep a low profile for  a few days with your emplpoyees from former organization.
