Nothing but sun: Spring comes to Belgium as temps rise above 20°C

14:04 28/05/2021

Pull out those shades, the sun is coming out. With summer around the corner, Belgium has decided to offer up a little spring, with temperatures creeping above the 20°C mark on Sunday. It will also – miracle of miracles – not rain.

In fact it isn’t going to rain for the next two weeks, with temperatures hovering at 20° and above until mid-June. The high point will be next Wednesday and Thursday, when it will reach 24° in Brussels.

It will be a bit cooler on the coast and in the Haute Ardenne region, but even those areas can expect sunny skies and dry weather for the foreseeable future. The warmest place in Belgium will be – as usual – Limburg, where it will reach 26° on Thursday.
