Hi,
How to approach a notary (for buying/selling/renting a property) in Brussels? Is there a central contact number or individual notary has to be contacted? Is the consultation free? If not, what's the charges?

Buying and selling - you just pick one, or get one recommended. Fees are set according to the value of the property sale.

Renting - normally no notary involved.

You other question - no, school fees are not tax deductible.

Try: notaire.be . It's the central notaries website. Fees and taxes are set by law and represent some 12-13 percent of your buying price.
