‘Soft landing in Belgium education’: Webinar in English on 3 October

The online event ‘Soft landing in Belgium education’ will help internationals navigate the school systems of each of the three language communities. 

Topics to be covered

• Understanding the principles of Education Policy in Belgium Constitutional rights, the importance of choice and the different language communities (Flemish, German-speaking, and French-speaking communities). 
• Insight into the educational structures From pre-school to higher education.
• Brussels-Capital Region  What's specific about education in the Brussels area.
• Alternative schooling Insights into options for international schooling, home schooling and dual learning. 
• Pre-Move Education Learn about the potential for online education before relocating.
• School Selection How to choose the right school.
• Enrolling in a Belgian school What requirements are there to start in a new school? What about the recognition of degrees from abroad, or language tests?
