Virus = Implications for my job.
Hello
I work in a restuarant, due to the virus crisis, I will be forced to stay home for a peiod 2-4 weeks. Maybe more. During that time, I will be under the chomage economic. My question - what are the conditions for that. What percentage of my salary will I get, is there a time limit?

The allocation is 65% of the reference salary, however the rules on calculating the reference salary are quite complex (+ there is a max amount independent of your salary level) so you’d best check with the caisse d’allocation of your union or CAPAC. The allowance is taxed on fixed percentage of +/- 27%. You also need to check that you’re entitled to the allowance (full in same conditions as for the regular unemployment allowance & your employer must have applied for the the chômage temporaire), and fill in quite some paper work with the unemployment officials to receive it.
