The cheapest way is second hand.
Universities often have their own secondhand book arrangements so ask ULB if it does. When buying secondhand make sure that the edition you are buying is acceptable for academic study, perhaps particularly the case with books on law which can become outdated very quickly. A reading list issued by the University will usually state the edition if it is important.
