Bathroom fitting shops?

Question

Hi
Any recommendations for bathroom refurbishment shops? We are thinking of Aachen region since prices are likely to be better in Germany.
We have the tiles. We need shower unit, washbasins and toilet etc.
Not Ikea.
Thanks

Remember that if your accommodation is more than 10 years old and you employ someone to do the fitting of the bathroom, any fittings that they buy will be subject to TVA at 6% rather than the 21% (within Belgium) that we mere mortals pay. That can make quite a difference to the total bill.

Think about the UK as well. Perfectly achievable to do a day return. Take a day off and go on a Friday, as the weekends are really busy. Day returns on the channel tunnel are around €120, but you'll easily save that just on paint and a few tools. Prices are crazy cheap compared to Belgium. (I mean like 50% compared to something like FACQ).

The Park Farm retail park is 5 minutes from the Channel Tunnel Terminal. Exit 13 on the M20. They have a massive Homebase, Tile Giant, Wickes, B&Q, Screwfix, Carpetright, Action Carpets, plus a lot of specialist furniture and fittings shops. I recently bought a bathroom suite from these guys; BDI Furniture (on www.folkestonebathroomshowroom.co.uk ) .
