Corrida to disrupt Brussels traffic on Tuesday evening
Local police from the Brussels Capital Ixelles zone are advising motorists to avoid parts of the city centre on Tuesday because of the annual nocturnal charity run. The route of the 8km Mannekin-Pis Corrida road race will be blocked to traffic between 19.00 and 21.45. The run starts from Place d’Espagne at 20.30
The route, almost identical to the 2016 edition run, follows Boulevard Berlaimont, Rue Neuve, Fossé aux Loups, Rue de L’Ecuyer, the Grand-Place and Place Saint-Jean, before finishing at Place d’Espagne. Police recommend the general public travel by metro.
