RHD car
I have a 14 year old Volvo V40 with right and drive which I would like to sell.
While in very good condition with a low mileage and running well, there is clearly not much of a market for a second hand RHD car of this age in Brussels and it is probably not worth re- registering it etc. In the UK/Ireland for sale.
Any advice as to how I might dispose of the car in Brussels for a modest amount.

It's probably worth £600-£700 in the UK, so you are right - it's definitely not worth reregistering (and reinsuring) it there.
The only easy option in Belgium is the "we buy any car" for export merchants and they might offer €300 cash, €400 if you are lucky, but in a similar situation I found it a quick and easy option.
Otherwise you are faced with the costs of scrapping it.
