All Brussels green spaces closed due to wind

The parks, woods and forest managed by Brussels Environment will be closed to the public on Thursday from 7.00 due to forecast strong winds.

The west to southwesterly wind bring gusts up to 90kph until the early hours of Friday, according to RTBF.

Brussels Environment advises everyone to stay away from region's green spacesand in particular near trees.

In parks where it is not possible to close every access path, notices will be placed on the entrances. The parks will reopen on Friday morning after inspection and cleaning.
