Question

Hi,

We have just moved from India to Belgium , a month ago. Would really appreciate any advise / suggestions on the following challenges that I have right now:

1) We have got admission for my son at the Antwerp british school located in Aartselaar, unfortunately the school transport is unable to pick/drop him as he is the only child coming from Edegem (St goriksplein)right now and it is not part of their normal route. We have a Car but we have just started our theory lessons. So i guess it will take us a month or so ( Provided we pass the first time). Kindly advise if there are any car pools, private drivers( i guess they are expensive)or any other alternative

2) My husband is here on a work permit.I am looking forward to working here. What are the a mandatory laws for the spouse to work ?

Cycling could also be an option.

2) IIRC, it depends on the nature of your husband's work permit. I think all trailing spouses are entitled to work.
