Question

Hi - would anyone with a foot condition like ie 'plantar fasciitis' , be able to refer me to their MAKER of special soles to place in their shoes. I am in Brussels and the last two that i attended retired within a short time of my consulting them

Natalie Heine made orthotics for my flat feet. I'm sure she could deal with your condition! There are 5 podiatrists in the practice - rue d'arlon 78, 1000 Brussels (corner of rue Belliard). Tel 02 732 6223. She was recommended by my surgeon and i found her thorough and professional.

Can recommend Langer Biomechanics orthotics. The only person I know working with this method is Rudi van Holderbeke in Kasterlee. I have been going to him for 20 years.

A friend very recently gave me some soles.
They used neoprene. (You can buy a mouse pad and cut it to the size of your foot or shoe. They got the neoprene mouse pads from Carrefour for €1.50.
I also suffer from plantar fasciitis and heel spur on the same foot. Unfortunately the operations were not successful; I am left with a very deep nasty 5cm scar which is very painful, even after 10 years.

The neoprene soles have helped.
